They redefine what it means to be a human being. Those who rebel against God by supporting the murder of babies get around that charge by redifining what a baby is. What I have been thinking is how they are being allowed to define “vulnerable” based on something other than how I would define it.
I keep thinking about the inconsistency of politicians, news sources, and individuals who support the murder of unborn children and then claim to care about the “vulnerable” among us. So forgive any incomplete arguments and bear with me! And if clarification is needed I’d be happy to address.Īs I was sipping my coffee this morning, thinking about the current state of society amid this whole panic over a virus, I decided I would write something that has been on my mind for the last few days regarding the “vulnerable” (not “scare” quotes, just labeling as a label). Here is the short post Josh wrote regarding the vulnerable:Ī short, quickly written observation. What is a vulnerable person? Who defines what it means to be human?
AWAKENING OF THE REBELLION UNITS UPDATE
As always, we'd love feedback at throws together a quick update on what's happening with the lockdown in Washington state, and also talks a bit about definitions. Due to time constraints we had to leave this at a cliff-hanger, but will come back as soon as we can find time to continue the discussion. We all have different ways of coming at things, and sometimes we have to disagree at the end of the day even as we leave the discussion as friends and brothers or sisters in the faith. Andrew and Josh discuss authority and what the Christian response to many of the orders coming down from governors should be. The Lutheran Way of Resistance and the American Revolution The Biblical Distinction between Rendering to Caesar and Resisting Tyranny: A Restoration of Martin Luther’s Genuine Doctrine of the Two Kingdoms "That I show all honour, love, and faithfulness to my father and mother and to all those in authority over me, submit myself with due obedience to their good instruction and discipline, and also have patience with their weaknesses and shortcomings, since it is God's will to govern us by their hand." "What does God require in the fifth commandment?" Answer. We hope it was helpful, and ask for any feedback or questions to be sent to to things mentioned:ġ04.
